About Me
Hi! I'm Madison and I make people feel beautiful for a living. I was born and raised in Massachusetts but I spent the last seven and a half years honing my craft and working in the entertainment industry of Los Angeles as a hair and makeup artist. I've worked on music videos, award shows, short films, red carpet events, photo shoots, cosmetic campaigns, feature films and even traveled the country doing press junkets for the films "Girls Trip", "Support The Girls", "The Hate You Give", and Show Time's television series "Black Monday". During my time in Los Angeles I've had the opportunity to assist, work alongside, and take classes from some of the worlds most talented celebrity makeup artists including Rea Ann Silva, Patrick Ta, Juan Tamez, Tyson Fountain, Roakel, Luis Torres, Lipsticknick, Brandy Allen and Jeffree Paul. I've also had the opportunity to work on cosmetic campaigns for Beautyblender, Jeffree Star Cosmetics and Mutha Skincare. My work with Beautyblender actually landed me on a Macys, Nordstrom, Sephora and Blue Mercury store advertisement. At the end of of 2016 I enrolled in Paul Mitchell The School and began my Cosmetology License journey. Once graduating and passing my state boards in 2017 I began assisting hairstylist Don Carroll, the owner of Dej Salon on Ventura Blvd in Sherman Oaks. In 2018 I graduated from assisting the owner and got my own chair as a Stylist in the salon while continuing my freelance work on set.
And then the pandemic hit. The world changed. My world changed. Everyone's did. My salon closed its doors permanently and the entertainment industry shut down. The dreams I once had for myself before the pandemic no longer brought me the joy I thought they would once I achieved them. Maybe I had seen behind the emerald curtain of Hollywood a few too many times; maybe I had milked every opportunity LA had in store for me; or maybe I was just tired of telling people " yeah, i'm not from here" every time they caught a hint of my accent . Either way, the sparkle of Los Angeles started looking a lot less like glitter and more like dead bugs on my rose colored glasses.
What good are the joys of success if all of the people you love are too far away to share in them (3,000 miles away to be exact)? There are a million talented artists all fighting for the biggest celebrity faces to paint in LA, but who is taking care of those artists' cities? Who was doing makeup and taking care of the people in my city?! It made me realize; maybe it's time to go where I'm needed, not where I think I need to be.
At the end of 2022 I decided to pack everything up and come back home to the city of Boston, where I can service the people I love most in this world. I want to provide Hollywood level and celebrity quality hair and makeup services to the great people of New England. From bridal makeup and photo shoots to personal makeup lessons and makeup parties, I am here for all your beauty needs. I do house calls as well as private appointments out of my makeup studio in Foxboro. To see more of my work, check out the " Work Portfolio" tabs at the top of the page and for a full list of services and pricing, visit the "Services" tab. I look forward to giving you the Hollywood treatment and I can't wait to meet you!
